Hi! I’m Kaleigh Davis, and I was born and raised here in Memphis. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During my last year of college, I began working at an autism center in Knoxville that provided both behavior and speech therapy. This was where I was first introduced to ABA—and I quickly fell in love with it.
After graduation, I moved back to Memphis to pursue my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Memphis while working at Harwood Center. Once I completed my degree, I moved to Nashville, where I worked first as an RBT and later as a BCBA after passing the board exam. Wanting to be closer to family, I eventually returned to Memphis, where I’ve been ever since.
As a BCBA, I’ve worked with a wide range of populations in diverse settings including clinics, homes, schools, and community environments. Most of my experience has been with children navigating behavioral challenges and functional communication needs, but I have also supported adults with disabilities and psychological disorders, teenagers working toward independence skills, and children of all ages developing everything from early imitation to emotional regulation.
What I love most about this field is its variety and individuality—no two cases are ever the same. Behaviors are complex, shaped by countless variables, and every client deserves a personalized plan that reflects their unique needs and priorities. For me, the most important thing is ensuring that goals are meaningful to the client and to the people in their support system. Success requires creativity, collaboration, and a rejection of one-size-fits-all approaches.
Collaboration with parents, teachers, and paraprofessionals is one of my biggest priorities. I never assume I know everything, and I value the insights and perspectives of others who are working toward the same goal: the best possible outcome for the client. I’m excited to be a part of Germantown Behavioral Solutions and to continue this work!
