For over 30 years, I have been privileged to serve my hometown, Memphis, as a licensed Senior Psychological Examiner, HSP and as a School Psychologist licensed by the Tennessee Department of Education. My professional experience spans traditional school settings, tele practice platforms and a clinical preschool environment, conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, cognitive impairments, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, and learning issues related to health conditions. I have also supported specialized programs for Memphis’ school district including Total Communication for Hearing-Impaired students, services for the Visually Impaired, Day Treatment, and HeadStart/Early Childhood. Notable schools/centers where I have served are Maxine Smith STEAM Academy, Colonial Hearing, Speech & Vision Center, Shady Grove Early Learning Center, Campus School, Sea Isle Elementary, Shrine School, and Middle College High School. I have also supervised School Psychology interns and practicum students from the University of Memphis and mentored early-career School Psychologists.
My current focus at Germantown Behavior Solutions is on psychoeducational evaluations for children aged 3 to 12 years in the areas of learning disabilities/differences, ADHD, and developmental concerns. I have been credentialed to administer the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) since 2017 and hope to be adding Autism evaluations to my offerings soon.
On a personal note, I am the blessed proud parent of a wonderful teenage son who was diagnosed with learning differences at an early age, and I am deeply committed to fostering perseverance and a belief in boundless possibilities through determination.
