Fall 2026 Groups:

  • 5th & 6th Grade Boys Social Skills Group
    • Led by Alex Whipple, LBA
    • Wednesdays, 5:30 at Germantown location
    • Start date TBD
    • For boys currently in 5th & 6th grades
    • Focus: Age appropriate interpersonal and connections skills
  • Creative Kids Club
    • Led by Lindsay Bartholomew, A-LPC/MHSP
    • Mondays, 5:30-6:30 at East Memphis location
    • 9/14-10/26/26 (Excluding 10/12)
    • For boys and girls ages 7-10
    • Focus: Emotional literacy. learning healthy coping skills, and fostering self-esteem through weekly guided art therapy activities
  • Field Trip Club
    • Led by Ana Belk Haynes, LBA
    • Biweekly Saturdays 11:00-12:00 pm

    • Location: various settings in the community
    • For middle school students (mixed gender) who may benefit from additional support developing relationships, independence, and confidence in community settings.
    • Focus: Development of communication, social, or adaptive living skills through practice in real-world environments with individualized coaching and reinforcement
  • Girls Play Club

    • Saturdays, 9:00-10:00 am at East Memphis office

    • For girls in 2nd-5th grade
    • Focus: reading social cues, navigating friendships, how to deepen social connections
  • Teen Girls Processing Group
    • Led by Melissa Miller, LPC-MHSP, LBA
    • Wednesdays, 4:00-5:00 at Germantown location

    • For upper Middle School & High School Girls
    • Focus: Navigating friendships, Dealing with Exclusion, Coping with Anxiety, and Building Confidence
  • DBT Multifamily Skills Group

For adolescents age 12 and above and their parents.

The DBT Multifamily Group provides a group setting for adolescents and one of their parents to learn and practice Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. This curriculum is adapted from Miller and Rathus (2014) DBT Skills Manual for Adolescents.

DBT Skills Group alone or used in conjunction with individual DBT work has demonstrated successfulness in reducing emotional dysregulation and related problematic coping, resolving adolescent and parent standoffs, and increasing feelings of validation for both parents and teens.

  • Adult DBT Skills Group 

Led by Katie Weintz, LCSW, DBT-LBC™

For adults 19 years old and up who struggle with issues of emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, or lacking coping skills. This group will meet weekly for 12 sessions, where Linehan board certified DBT clinician Katie Weintz will teach the core skills as outlined in the DBT Skills Training Manual by Marsha M. Linehan (2015). Participants will learn and practice skills pertaining to distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

This group is designed for individuals as a stand alone treatment or to be used in conjunction with individual therapy.
